RC-2 release postponed once again

The controversial film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, ‘Rakta Charitra’ had hit the screen recently and made a handsome business. It is also running successfully in different areas of the state.

As the story of the film is quite lengthy, the director had decided to release the film in two parts and the second part was expected to be released in November. This is because the audiences could still recollect the earlier story and would rush to the theatres for the second version.

However, the distributors and producer C Kalyan appealed to the director to postpone it further as the first version is still running with packed theatres in some areas. Succumbing to their pressure, the release was postponed once and the director announced the latest release date as November 19.

However, the release was put off till December 3 due to some other reasons. The producers claim that they need some more time to promote their film through trailers and other such activities to make it more interesting and attractive. Will the director agree for yet another postponement and release the film on December 3 or stick to his word for an early release had to be seen.
