Poonam Kaur’s debut film ‘Nenjirukkum Varai’ opposite Narain did not kick start a career in Kollywood and Poonam went to Tollywood. She recently appeared in a cameo in ‘Payanam’. With no real break coming her way the former Miss Andhra has gone for a name change after consulting all her numerologists and astrologers.
Poonam Kaur has changed her name to Nakshatra. With the change she has bagged the film Prabhu Deva is directing with Vishal.
Then for that matter we already have a Nakshatra in the making. The second daughter of yesteryear actress Sumithra is being introduced in Tamil with the same name. Sumithra’s daughter Nakshatra is currently doing two films ‘Varusanadu’ and ‘Doo’.
So, who is the real Nakshatra? The battle begins now.
