Red Riding Hood Movie Review- Mysterious

This is my first movie review of an English movie, though I have watched many others I have never reviewed them.

Red Riding Hood stars Amanda Seyfried,Gary Oldman,Billy Burke,Shiloh Fernandez,Virginia Madsen,Max Irons, and Julie Christie in the lead roles. RRH is directed by Catherine Hardwicke and written by David Leslie Johnson. Cinematography done by Mandly Walker, music by Brian Reitzell. RRH is a twisted tale of the original story "Little Red Riding Hood".

Story: In a village called Daggerhorn, a ware wolf preys on the people of the village. Though they offer scarifies to the beast, one night it kills a girl in the town. The townspeople decide on killing the wolf. They manage to do so. But is it really, the same wolf that has caused all the problems? Watch the movie to find out more!

Amanda is really pretty, her plus point is her eyes, which she uses well for her performance.Shiloh and Max were attractive, though some scenes with Shiloh were not needed, which I will talk about later. Both performed great in what they had. Gary Oldman was a villain, but when you first see him you think he is a savior for the village; but then as a viewer you understand he isn't much of a savior. Billy Burke was soo unexpected, wow. He was too good in his role. The rest of the cast were super in their roles, convincing :)

Gorgeous camera work by Mandly, in every shot. :) The music was good too, was scene fitting, my fave was when they were all celebrating. The story was neat, especially the twists and the suspense factor. It made you think an other way, yet at the end the actual truth was revealed. The sexuality aspect was truly unnecessary, if it wasn't there, kids under 13 could have watched it too, but sadly no. Those parts were a waste of time. Thats what I was talking about when I said some scenes with Shiloh was unneeded. I really felt that the love triangle was also not needed at all, I mean whats the point? Is it just for the lovey dovey girls out there? Or for people who expect another "Twilight" ?  The mystery could have been solved with out the 2 guys. But you might think different :)

Go watch it, you will like the mystery of it. But I advise you not to take kids under 13 for it, as it will be inappropriate for them. Don't get fooled by the title ;)
